Complete Home Renovation
From multi-room refurbishments to open-plan reconfigurations, extensions, and loft conversions — we manage every trade, every material, and every detail from the first meeting to the final walkthrough.
One Team. Every Trade. Total Transformation.
A whole-home renovation is the most ambitious and most rewarding project you can undertake on a property. Done well, it reimagines how you live — opening up spaces, modernising tired interiors, adding rooms, and adding genuine value. Done badly, it becomes a drawn-out ordeal of unreliable tradespeople, budget overruns, and half-finished rooms.
The difference almost always comes down to management. At Renova Builds, we act as a single point of responsibility for your entire project. We plan the sequence of works, source and coordinate every trade, supervise the site daily, and manage materials procurement — so you are not chasing contractors, resolving disputes between trades, or making decisions you are not qualified to make. You tell us what you want. We deliver it.
Types of Renovation Projects We Manage
Our renovation team handles projects across the full spectrum of residential renovation work:
- Full house refurbishments: Complete strip-back and rebuild of every room in a property — new kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, plastering, electrics, plumbing, decoration, and joinery from top to bottom.
- Open-plan conversions: Removing internal walls (load-bearing or partition) to create open kitchen-dining-living spaces. Includes structural calculations, RSJ installation, and all making-good.
- Single and double storey extensions: Expanding your footprint to add a larger kitchen, utility room, bedroom, or additional reception space. We manage planning, groundworks, build, and all internal finishes.
- Loft conversions: Transforming unused loft space into a bedroom, bathroom, or home office. Velux, dormer, and hip-to-gable conversions across West London properties.
- Garage conversions: Converting an attached or integral garage into usable living space — including insulation, damp proofing, flooring, electrics, and plastering.
- Multi-room renovations: Tackling several rooms in sequence — often kitchen and bathrooms together, or a full ground floor refurbishment — with one coordinated programme of works.
- Buy-to-let and investment property renovations: Cost-effective, high-durability refurbishments designed to maximise rental yield or resale value with minimal ongoing maintenance.
What We Coordinate On Your Behalf
A full renovation touches almost every trade. Our project management covers:
- Strip-out, clearance, and waste disposal before works begin
- Structural work including wall removal, RSJ installation, and underpinning where required
- First fix electrics and plumbing — rewiring, consumer unit upgrades, new heating systems
- Plastering and dry lining after first fix is complete
- Kitchen and bathroom installation including all associated trades
- Flooring — hardwood, engineered, tile, LVT — across all rooms
- Carpentry — doors, skirting, architrave, fitted wardrobes and storage
- Second fix electrics and plumbing — sockets, switches, sanitaryware, radiators
- Painting and decorating as the final trade before handover
Our Renovation Process
Every project follows the same disciplined, transparent process:
- Step 1 — Initial Consultation: We visit the property, walk every room with you, understand your vision and priorities, and establish a realistic budget range. This visit is completely free.
- Step 2 — Detailed Proposal: We prepare a comprehensive scope of works with an itemised breakdown of every trade, material allowance, and labour cost. Fixed price where possible — no hidden surprises.
- Step 3 — Programme of Works: Before we begin, you receive a day-by-day schedule showing which trades are on site when, key milestones, and the expected completion date.
- Step 4 — Build Phase: Our site manager coordinates every trade in the correct sequence, handles daily supervision, manages deliveries, and keeps you updated throughout.
- Step 5 — Snagging & Handover: We carry out a thorough snagging inspection before the final walkthrough with you. Every item is resolved before we close the project and hand over the keys.
Do I Need Planning Permission?
Internal renovations, including full refurbishments, open-plan conversions, and most loft conversions, typically fall within permitted development rights and do not require planning permission. Single-storey rear extensions up to a certain depth are also frequently permitted development. Double-storey extensions, side extensions in some locations, and properties in conservation areas or with Article 4 directions may require full planning consent. We advise on this at the consultation stage and can recommend planning consultants where required.
How Much Does a Full Home Renovation Cost?
Renovation costs vary enormously depending on the size of the property, the extent of the works, and the specification of materials chosen. As a rough guide for the Uxbridge area: a full one-bedroom flat refurbishment typically starts from around £25,000–£40,000; a three-bedroom house renovation ranges from £50,000–£120,000 depending on specification; loft conversions typically start from £35,000–£55,000; and single-storey extensions from £30,000–£60,000. We provide fully itemised, transparent proposals so you can make informed decisions at every stage.

“We had the entire ground floor opened up and refitted — kitchen, living room, utility, and a new downstairs WC. Renova managed everything. One point of contact, one price, no chaos. The house looks completely unrecognisable and we couldn't be more thrilled.”
