A Clean Start for Every Project

Every renovation begins with a blank canvas — and creating that canvas is a job in itself. Decades of accumulated furniture, fixtures, rubbish, and building materials do not clear themselves. A professional clearance, done quickly and properly, sets the renovation up for success and keeps the programme on schedule from day one.

At Renova Builds, clearance and strip-out work is something we take seriously — not as an afterthought, but as a skilled first step. Our teams work efficiently, sort materials responsibly for recycling and disposal, and leave properties genuinely clean and ready for the next phase of work. Whether you need a single room stripped back or an entire property cleared before sale, we have the team and the equipment to handle it.

Clearance & Removal Services We Provide

We cover the full range of residential clearance and waste removal work:

  • Full property clearance: Complete clearance of all contents from a property — furniture, white goods, personal effects, accumulated rubbish, and garden waste. Suitable for probate clearances, pre-sale preparation, or properties that have been vacant for extended periods.
  • Pre-renovation strip-out: Targeted removal of kitchens, bathrooms, fitted furniture, flooring, plasterboard, and other building materials ahead of a renovation programme. Done carefully to protect the structure and avoid unnecessary damage.
  • Waste removal & skip management: Ongoing waste collection during a renovation — bagging, loading, and disposing of rubble, plasterboard, timber, packaging, and general site waste. We can also manage skip hire and placement on your behalf.
  • Furniture removal: Removal of individual items or entire room contents — sofas, wardrobes, beds, white goods, and garden furniture — including items too large for standard refuse collection.
  • End-of-tenancy clearing: Clearance of contents left by departing tenants, including deep cleaning preparation, rubbish removal, and making the property ready for re-letting or sale.
  • Garden clearance: Removal of garden waste, overgrown vegetation, old garden furniture, sheds, decking, and accumulated rubbish from outdoor spaces ahead of landscaping work.
  • Garage & loft clearance: Clearing years of accumulated items from garages, lofts, outbuildings, and storage spaces — sorted for disposal, recycling, or charitable donation as appropriate.
  • Probate clearances: Sensitive, respectful clearance of a deceased person's property — handled with care, discretion, and proper documentation for estate purposes.

Responsible Waste Disposal

All waste we remove is disposed of legally and responsibly. We hold the appropriate waste carrier licences and work exclusively with registered waste transfer facilities. Where possible, we separate and recycle materials — metals, timber, plasterboard, cardboard, and clean aggregates can all be diverted from landfill with the correct sorting. Furniture and white goods in serviceable condition are donated to local charities where arrangements allow.

We never fly-tip. We never use unlicensed waste carriers. Every load is tracked and documented, and we can provide waste transfer notes for your records on request — essential for landlords and businesses with duty of care obligations.

Clearance as Part of a Wider Renovation

The most efficient way to handle a clearance is to incorporate it into a wider renovation programme. When Renova Builds manages your full renovation project, we coordinate the strip-out and clearance phase ourselves — sequencing it correctly before other trades arrive, managing skip placement and removal, and ensuring the site stays clean and safe throughout the build. You do not need to organise a separate clearance company; we handle it as part of the wider project.

For clients who are not yet ready to begin a full renovation — perhaps you have just inherited a property or are preparing a rental for re-letting — our standalone clearance service is available independently of any other work.

Our Process

  • Step 1 — Site visit & assessment: We visit the property, assess the volume and nature of the contents to be removed, and identify any items requiring specialist disposal (hazardous materials, WEEE, asbestos-containing materials).
  • Step 2 — Fixed-price quote: We provide a clear, fixed price for the clearance based on the volume of waste, access conditions, and any specialist disposal requirements. No hidden charges once work begins.
  • Step 3 — Clearance day: Our team arrives with the appropriate vehicles and equipment, works methodically through the property, and sorts materials for recycling, disposal, or donation as agreed.
  • Step 4 — Final sweep: We sweep out all rooms after the main clearance and leave the property in a clean, broom-swept condition ready for the next phase — whether that is renovation, sale, or re-letting.

How Much Does a Property Clearance Cost?

Clearance costs depend on the volume of material to be removed, the access conditions at the property, and whether any specialist disposal is required. As a guide in the Uxbridge area: a single room clearance or small flat typically starts from £150–£300; a full three-bedroom house clearance typically costs £400–£900 depending on volume; pre-renovation strip-outs are priced based on scope. We always provide a fixed price after a site visit so there are no surprises on the day.

Areas We Cover

We provide clearance and removal services across West London and surrounding areas including Uxbridge, Harrow, Watford, Hayes, Ruislip, Ealing, Hillingdon, Southall, Northolt, and Rickmansworth. Contact us to confirm availability and arrange a site visit.
